Field & Construction Services
In addition to design, on-site surveying and construction services are performed by our engineering staff. EBA’s engineers and technicians perform field surveys for the creation of such items as topographic maps, well location, construction staking, and as-builts. EBA also provides assistance during bidding and contract management services during construction, as well as civil inspection.
Regarding contract administration services EBA is able to:
- Assist in evaluation of bids
- Arrange and conduct pre-construction meetings
- Coordinate with contractors
- Ensure that the contractor(s) comply with applicable laws
- Receive, review, route, and manage contractor submittals
- Review, understand and implement Agency Policy affecting the project
- Provide construction field observation
- Assist with project mobilization efforts as needed
- Review, comment and process progress payment requests
- Review plans and specification for constructability
- Prepare as-built plans
- Prepare construction reports
