Porter Creek Landfill - Clean Closure

Project Description:

EBA provided Clean Closure remediation of a six acre rural Class III landfill operated from 1958 to 1990. EBA prepared the landfill waste characterization and remedial corrective action alternatives study, bid plans and specifications, and coordinated approval of the Clean Closure Plan from the California Integrated Waste Management Board and the Regional Water Quality Control Board. EBA provided CQA oversight during clean closure construction, performed soil and groundwater analyses, and prepared a Closure Certification Report.

EBA Provided the Following Services:

  • Performed landfill waste characterization
  • Prepared a Clean Closure Plan and obtained permits.
  • Prepared the final Construction Plans, Specifications, Construction Quality Assurance Plan and Bid Documents.
  • Performed CQA services including daily inspections, material testing, closure soil and groundwater conformance testing, and clean closure certification.
