Rock Creek - Landfill Expansion

Project Description:

EBA provided design, permitting and construction management services for a new Subtitle D landfill, which included the design of a composite base liner, preparation of bid documents for Phase 1A and 1B, and engineering support during construction. In addition, a Preliminary Closure Plan was also prepared as part of the permit process.

EBA Provided the Following Services:

  • Designed preliminary and final construction plans for the 70 acre site.
  • Designed a composite base liner, leachate collection and removal system, leachate pond, vadose zone monitoring system, sedimentation basin and all civil works.
  • Designed ancillary facilities including access roads, scales, gatehouse fire suppression system, and design for a 4,800 SF landfill maintenance building with underslab gas venting system.
  • Performed construction management services for Phase IA and IB.
  • Prepared the Preliminary Closure Plan, including all groundwater monitoring systems.
