Project Description:
EBA provided design, permitting and construction management services for the development of a solid waste material recovery and transfer facility located on a 50-acre site within a reclaimed gravel pit. EBA provided the design for a 50,000 SF material recovery and transfer building, a 15,000 SF vehicle maintenacne and administrative building, gatehouse, truck scales, fueling area, truck wash and access roads.
EBA designed on-site utilities including a water supply, storage and distribution system, septage collection/disposal system and stormwater drainage system with retention pond.
The project also included the design of a concrete composting pad and clay-lined evaporation pond.
EBA Provided the Following Services:
- Assisted in site selection and provided conceptual design for an Environmental Impact Report.
- Prepared the permitting documents for a Solid Waste Facility Permit, Authority to Construct, and Waste Discharge Requirements.
- Prepared the final design plans, specifications and bid documents.
- Provided assistance with bidding and Contractor selection.
