Project Description:
EBA provided numerous services for the City of Ukiah Landfill. EBA supervised the installed several groundwater monitoring wells and investigated hydrogeologic conditions at the site in development of a Remedial Investigation/Feasibility Study and groundwater quality monitoring program.
EBA Provided the Following Services:
- Preparation of Periodic Site Review, Report of Disposal Site Information and Report of Waste Discharge and Preliminary Closure and Postclosure Maintenance Plans.
- Installation of groundwater monitoring wells using air-rotary drilling techniques. Borehole characterization included geophysical and video logging techniques.
- Development of an Article 5 groundwater quality monitoring program.
- Development of cost saving measures for water quality monitoring using stable isotope geochemistry techniques.
- Preparation of a landfill gas monitoring program and supervision of the installation of several perimeter gas probes.
- Performed a borrow source investigation of the suitability of on-site aterials for use in construction of the low-permeability cap.
